The Victron Smart BatteryProtect protects the battery against excessive discharge and can double as a system on/off switch. It disconnects non-essential loads before the battery is damaged or left without enough power to crank the engine.
It auto-ranges between 12V and 24V systems, detecting system voltage automatically on first power-up. Bluetooth connectivity makes programming easy, letting the settings be adjusted from a phone rather than through a physical interface on the unit itself.
This 65-amp version handles moderate load levels. It’s a fit for a smaller boat or a single sub-circuit rather than a whole-boat main disconnect. Explore more battery management systems.
