Calfskin has long been the choice of master leatherworkers for fine, detailed carving. The smooth, tight grain of these skins is why it is preferred for small leather goods when you don’t want to cut corners on quality. If you are looking for a clean carving leather, this is an excellent choice that you will enjoy working with on future projects.
