Vibrating Foam Roller
Theragun Wave Roller
A full-body roller for large muscle groups. The Wave Roller is 12 inches long and 5.1 inches across, so a hamstring or a quad sits on it end to end and you roll the whole length in one pass. Five vibration intensity levels run underneath that contact, and you change them on the roller itself or from the Therabody app over Bluetooth.
The body is high-density foam with a hypo-allergenic surface and a wave-shaped groove pattern moulded into it. The grooves give the roller two working surfaces: the raised sections press narrower, the valleys let the roller sit around a hip or a shoulder blade. It weighs 3.3 lbs and runs 180 minutes on a charge from a 12V internal lithium-ion battery.

Wave Roller Features
Four things separate this from a plain foam cylinder: the vibration motor, the app connection, the moulded surface and the foam itself.
〰️5 Customized Vibration SettingsFive vibration intensity levels, stepped from light to firm. You pick the level, so the same roller covers a brisk warm-up pass and a slower session later in the day.5 intensity levels?Smart ConnectivityA smart device with Bluetooth connectivity. What the Wave Roller is good at
Twelve inches of contact makes this a broad-area tool. These are the jobs its size and surface actually suit.

A closer look
Two details that decide how it rolls
Size
12″ for Full Body Support
Twelve inches is long enough to cover a hamstring across its width and short enough to fit in a gym bag. At 5.1 inches across, the roller sits high enough off the floor that your body weight does the work while you move over it, and it holds a stable line under a back or a quad. Weight is 3.3 lbs, light enough to reposition with one hand mid-session.

Waves, grooves and five levels of vibration
Asymmetrical wave-shaped grooves run around the roller, so contact changes as you move along it: the raised sections concentrate pressure, the valleys let the roller wrap a hip or track either side of the upper back. Five customizable vibration frequencies run through that surface, and the Therabody app pairs over Bluetooth for intensity control and the Wave Series routines.

Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Five. Therabody lists 5 vibration intensity levels, adjustable on the roller itself or through the Therabody app. Therabody does not publish a vibration frequency in Hz for the Wave Roller, so we quote the level count only.It measures 12.0 in x 5.1 in (30 cm x 13 cm) and weighs 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg). That is a standard mid-length foam roller footprint.180 minutes – three hours of run time – from a 12V internal lithium-ion battery. Therabody does not publish a charge time, so we do not quote one.The Wave Roller, a protective carrying pouch and a power adapter. The pouch is not shown in the product photography. It varies the contact patch. Raised sections press over a narrower area while the valleys let the roller sit around a curved area such as a hip or the ridge either side of the upper back. Therabody describes it as adding an additional dimension of pressure along with traction control.Yes. It is a smart device with Bluetooth connectivity. The app adjusts vibration intensity and carries the Wave Series guided rolling routines.Yes. All five intensity levels are set from the roller itself. The app adds remote control and the guided routines on top of that. The body uses high-density foam for noise dampening, which is the design choice made to keep a motorised roller quiet. Therabody does not publish a decibel figure for the Wave Roller, so we cannot give you a number.A high-density foam with a hypo-allergenic surface. The live product copy and the therabody.com spec sheet name different foam types, so we quote the density and the hypo-allergenic finish and leave the polymer name out.Large muscle groups – hamstrings, quads and back – because the 12-inch length keeps contact across the whole muscle. The grooves also give it purchase on the hips and upper back.Format. The Wave Roller is the full-size cylinder for broad areas. The WaveDuo is a two-lobe unit shaped to sit either side of the spine. The WaveSolo is a single ball for one spot at a time.No. The Wave Roller is vibration only. If you want heat in a recovery tool, look at the RecoveryTherm range instead.A 1-Year limited warranty from Therabody.Therabody lists the Wave Roller as FDA Registered. That is a different designation from FDA Cleared, and we quote it exactly as published.Therabody does not publish a weight capacity or maximum load rating for the Wave Roller, so we will not estimate one.
