Therabody Jetboots Prime Recovery Boots

The Regular pair weighs 6 lb. That is the number the whole design turns on. The boots fold flat like a pair of trousers, drop into the drawstring backpack that comes with them, and go in a gear bag alongside your kit. There is no pump box, no hose set and no mains cable to find at the other end.

What runs is pneumatic compression, and the controls stay short on purpose. Four pressure levels, set in steps of 25 mmHg, from 25 mmHg to a ceiling of 100. Four time options: 20 minutes, 40, 60, or continuous. Both selections live on a control panel built into the boot, with LED indicators beside them, and 180 minutes of battery sit behind them. Pick a pressure, pick a duration, lie down.

Features

Powerful Leg Recovery as Light as Air

Four features carry this boot: the weight, the panel, the chambers and the pump. Everything below is a published figure or a physical part you can point at.

?Recharge your legs anywhere with an ultra-portable, wireless designSix pounds for the Regular pair, 5.5 lb at the lightest size and 6.3 lb at the heaviest. The boots fold like a pair of trousers and pack into the drawstring backpack included in the box. Nothing hangs off them: no hoses to connect, no cords to plug in during a session.6 lb · folds flat · backpack included?Control and customize your recovery with a built-in control panelThe panel sits on the boot with LED indicators next to it. Two decisions to make: which of the four pressure levels, and which of the four time intervals. A travel lock disables the panel so the boots stay off inside a bag.4 pressures · 4 durations · travel lock?Science-backed pressure delivery through 4 overlapping chambersFour air chambers run up the leg and overlap each other, so the boot has no untreated band between zones. Therabody calls the graded sequence TruGrade Technology™ and states that it tailors pressure to the size of the leg. The verifiable part is the chamber count and the 25 to 100 mmHg range.4 overlapping chambers?Built-in pump system, synchronized across both bootsThe pump is inside the garment. Both boots inflate at the same time on the same cycle, so the left leg and the right leg get the same treatment in the same minute. It also means there is no floor unit to trip over and nothing to set up before a session.Synchronized inflation

Controls

Four pressure levels, four time intervals, one panel

Compression boots often ask for a phone, a hose and a menu. This one asks for two button presses. Pressure moves in fixed 25-mmHg steps, so the four levels are 25, 50, 75 and 100 mmHg, and the LED indicators on the boot show which one is live. Time is chosen the same way: 20 minutes, 40, 60, or continuous for as long as the battery holds. Both settings sit on the boot, where you can reach them once your legs are already inside.

  • Pressure range: 25–100 mmHg, adjusted in 25-mmHg increments
  • 4 pressure levels, shown on the built-in LED indicators
  • 4 time intervals: 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 60 minutes or continuous
  • Control panel and indicators built into the boot itself
  • Travel lock disables the panel during transport

The pump lives in the boot

A traditional compression system puts the pump in a box and runs air down four hoses. The Prime puts the pump inside the garment and inflates both boots on one synchronized cycle, which is what keeps the two legs identical through a session. The material is straightforward: the boot garment is 100% nylon fabric with a PU coating, the housing is PC and ABS, and the interior is lined as a single smooth face with no pockets or flaps to wipe around.

  • Advanced built-in pump system, synchronized inflation to both boots
  • 4 overlapping pressure chambers along the leg
  • Material, boot garment: 100% nylon fabric, PU coated
  • Material, sleeve garment: nylon, TPU, PET, PVC
  • Material, housing: PC and ABS; pump adds TPE, POM, a lithium-ion cell and metals
  • Interior lined design offers one smooth, easy-to-clean surface

Three items, and a backpack that decides how often you use them

The box holds the JetBoots Prime device, which is two connected compression boots, a drawstring backpack, and a 270 cm USB-C charging cable. The cable length matters at a hotel where the only free socket is behind the bed. The backpack matters more: a recovery device that packs itself is one you can take to an away fixture, and the travel lock means it stays off in the overhead locker.

  • JetBoots Prime device: 2 connected compression boots

  • Weight across the three sizes: 5.5 lb (2.51 kg) to 6.3 lb (2.86 kg), Regular at 6 lb (2.73 kg)

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

The Regular pair is 6 lb (2.73 kg). Across all three sizes the range runs from 5.5 lb (2.51 kg) to 6.3 lb (2.86 kg). One note on the outer two: Therabody’s weight table labels its rows Small and Large while the sizes you buy are called Short and Long, so we give the range and leave that pairing alone.Three items. The JetBoots Prime device, which is two connected compression boots with the pump inside them, a drawstring backpack, and a 270 cm USB-C charging cable. There is no separate pump box and no hose set, because the pump is part of the garment.Four. Pressure runs from 25 mmHg to 100 mmHg in 25-mmHg increments, so the four settings are 25, 50, 75 and 100. Therabody describes these as science-backed pressure levels delivered through four overlapping chambers by its TruGrade Technology™. The pressure figures are specification; the circulation language attached to them is Therabody’s own claim. There are four time intervals: 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 60 minutes, or continuous. Continuous runs until you stop it or the battery ends, and 180 minutes of battery sets that outer limit.180 minutes, three hours, and both of Therabody’s published figures agree on it. The boots can also be run while charging, so a long clinic day is a matter of finding one socket. Charging is USB-C, on the 270 cm cable in the box.Two measurements, both starting at the bottom of the groin. Inseam runs from the bottom of the groin to the ankle bone. Leg Length, which Therabody’s chart calls the outseam, runs from the bottom of the groin to the floor with no shoes on. If you land between two sizes, size down.Three sizes, by two measurements. Short: outseam 27–36.5 in, inseam 25–29 in. Regular: outseam 34–41 in, inseam 29–33 in. Long: outseam from 41 in, inseam from 30 in. The RFA chart on this page draws its Short and Regular boundaries a little lower, so if you sit near a boundary, measure twice and take the smaller boot.Therabody publishes a thigh column, and we are not reprinting it, because it contradicts itself: the Short row is listed for thighs of 26 in and over while the Regular row is listed for thighs under 26 in, which puts the smaller boot on the larger leg. Size from the outseam and inseam, which are coherent, and contact us if your thigh measurement is unusual for your leg length. They fold up like a pair of pants and go into the drawstring backpack that ships with them. Therabody positions the Prime as its most portable recovery boot, and the 6 lb figure is the part of that you can check on a set of scales. It locks the control panel so the boots cannot switch themselves on while they are packed. Useful in a kit bag, more useful in an aircraft hold.No. Every setting is on the boot: the control panel and LED indicators are built right into the garment. Therabody publishes no app or Bluetooth integration for this model, so there is nothing to pair and nothing to update. The boot garment is 100% nylon fabric with a PU coating; the sleeve garment adds TPU, PET and PVC, and the housing is PC and ABS. The interior is lined as one smooth surface with no pockets and no flaps, so cleaning is a single wipe across a flat face.Therabody lists the Prime as FDA Cleared, and that is the exact wording we are repeating. It comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Neither of those is a statement about outcomes, and we have kept the outcome language on this page attributed to Therabody where it appears at all.It is Therabody’s line about validating each product internally before release. Their marketing goes on to describe faster recovery, less soreness and better performance. Those are Therabody’s claims, stated by Therabody. The specifications on this page are the part you can hold them to: four pressure levels, four durations, four chambers, 180 minutes, 6 lb.Weight and control granularity. The Prime is the lighter, simpler boot: 6 lb, four fixed pressure levels, four time options. The PRO Plus adds vibration and infrared LED inside the same garment, sets pressure in 5-mmHg steps to a 100 mmHg ceiling, and carries 8 preset routines on an LCD screen. If compression is what you want, the Prime does compression. In the specification tabs on this page, covering What’s Included, Weight, Battery Life, Material and Warranty. Anything Therabody does not publish for this model, including charge time, noise level and device dimensions, is absent here as well.
