Outdoor Traditional Sauna
SaunaLife CL5G 4-Person Cube-Series Outdoor Home Sauna
The CL5G is the four-person cabin in SaunaLife’s Cube-Series, an outdoor sauna built from full-length Thermo-Spruce staves 1.7 inches thick, designed by SaunaLife and handcrafted in Northern Europe. The interior runs 77.2 inches wide by 55.1 inches deep and carries three benches — a 76-inch back wall bench, a 73.2-inch lower bench, and a 17.3-inch side bench — seating four bathers.
The exterior staves are organically thermally enhanced, and SaunaLife’s claim for the treatment is specific: the wood comes out stronger, more dimensionally stable, naturally resistant to decay and pests, and far longer-lasting than conventional wood. A complete shingle kit with drip rails moves water off the roof and away from the staves so the interior stays dry.

The Build
Four Materials Decisions That Decide How Long It Lasts
An outdoor sauna lives through every season your yard does. Four material choices on the CL5G carry that load: the exterior staves, the bench stock, the roof, and the front glass.
?Thermo-Spruce ExteriorThe exterior is built from durable full-length staves that have been organically thermally enhanced. The treatment makes the spruce stronger and more dimensionally stable, and leaves it naturally resistant to decay and pests.1.7″ Full-Length Staves?Knotless Thermo-Aspen BenchesBenches and backrests are satin-smooth knotless Thermo-Aspen. The surface stays cool to the touch, so you can settle back against a bench at full sauna temperature.Bench & Backrest Material?Shingle Kit With Drip RailsA complete shingle kit ships with the cabin, and drip rails carry water clear of the staves. Superior water management keeps the interior dry season after season.Included With The Kit?8mm Tempered Bronze GlassThe front door glass is 8mm thick, bronze-tinted, and tempered for safety.
