The Ronstan ClearStart 50mm Red/Gray Sailing Race Watch is a dedicated race timer with a large display, intuitive programming, and a rugged construction suited to competitive sailing. This Red/Gray version features a glass-reinforced polycarbonate case, recessed mineral crystal lens, and lower-profile textured buttons that are easy to locate when conditions become busy on the water.
A flexible injection-molded silicone band supports comfortable wear through long race days. Race Mode provides World Sailing 5-4-1-0, match racing, and user-set start sequences, while the SYNC function allows a late-started countdown to be resynchronized. Audible signals mark progress through the sequence so the sailor does not have to rely only on the display.
At the completion of a start sequence, the watch can repeat the countdown or change to count-up mode for elapsed race timing. It also includes 12 or 24 hour time, selectable date format, a daily alarm, chronograph, and luminescent backlight with battery-saving control.
