Indoor FAR Infrared Sauna
Maxxus 2-Person Low EMF FAR Infrared Sauna (Canadian Hemlock)
The K206 is the wider two-person cabin in the Maxxus range. Its exterior is 50 by 42 by 75 inches, and Maxxus note that the roof overhang adds a further 5.9 inches to the depth — a number worth writing down before you measure an alcove. Inside, 45 by 37 inches with a 68-inch ceiling.
Two things separate the K206 from the J-series and S-Line cabins beside it. Maxxus fit interior and exterior LED control panels, so the sauna can be started from the room, and the audio system includes an FM radio alongside Bluetooth and an MP3 auxiliary input. Exterior accent lighting is listed as well.

Measure The Roof, Not Just The Walls
Maxxus publish the K206 exterior as 50 by 42 by 75 inches and add, in the same line, that the roof overhang adds 5.9 inches to the depth. Both figures are theirs; Maxxus publish no combined depth, so plan the position against the 42-inch body and their 5.9-inch overhang note rather than a number we worked out for you. The interior is 45 by 37 inches with a 68-inch ceiling, in natural reforested Canadian hemlock, with a roof vent fitted. The sauna itself weighs 250 lbs and ships at 330 lbs.

Panels On Both Sides, Radio In The Cabin
The K206 carries interior and exterior LED control panels, so nothing forces you to sit in a cold cabin waiting for it to warm. Audio is an FM radio with Bluetooth and MP3 auxiliary connection playing through built-in speakers — Maxxus specify those three inputs and no others.

Frequently Asked Questions
The cabin body is 50″ W × 42″ D × 75″ H, and Maxxus state that the roof overhang adds 5.9″ to the depth. Allow for that at roof height when you plan an alcove or a wall position. The interior is 45″ × 37″ × 68″.The manufacturer figures are an ideal operating range of 118°F–132°F and a maximum of 140°F. Maxxus give them for their infrared line rather than model by model, so there is no MX-K206-01-specific number to quote. This is a Low EMF cabin. Maxxus publish an EMF range between 5 mG and 10 mG, measured 2 to 3 inches from the heating panels, and their owner’s manual gives the Low EMF tier as an average of 5–10 mG about two inches from the heater panel. The same cabin is also built as the K206-01-ZF, for which Maxxus publish under 3 mG at the same distance.Yes. That is a real difference from the S-Line cabins in this group, which Maxxus fit with an interior panel only.FM radio with Bluetooth and MP3 auxiliary connection, through built-in speakers. Maxxus specify those inputs and no others — there is no SD card slot and no USB port on this model, whatever older listings may say.120V / 15 amp, non-GFCI, plug and play, with a dedicated outlet recommended by Maxxus. That is an ordinary household circuit. Where no dedicated outlet exists at the install position, we recommend having a licensed electrician fit one before the sauna arrives.No. Maxxus specify indoor installation only on the listing and in the owner’s manual, and that condition is consistent across their documentation.Free curbside delivery via freight to the 48 contiguous states, with free delivery damage insurance included. The freight carrier contacts you 24 to 48 hours ahead to set a day and time Monday through Friday inside a 4-hour window, and will not deliver without speaking to you first. The sauna arrives strapped to a pallet on a 53-foot semi-truck with a single driver, who unloads to your curbside or driveway only. Raise anything unusual about your access — long driveway, low branches, stairs, apartment complex — with us before the sauna ships. When the driver unloads, inspect the boxes and note any scratches, dents, or scuff marks on the delivery receipt. You do not need to open the boxes to do that.Clasp-together assembly, shipped in 2 boxes. The Maxxus owner’s manual specifies two adults, a Phillips screwdriver and a ladder, and notes that backrests are not included. Maxxus publish no assembly time, so we quote none.Maxxus set out their warranty terms in the Warranty tab.
