Jugs Sting-Free Dimple Ball Softball 12 in. – Dozen
This is the 12 in. dimpled Sting-Free softball, twelve to the box in Game-Ball yellow. It is the same size and weight as a leather softball, and the dimpled cover is what makes it a machine ball: the wheels grip it the same way every pitch, so the location stays where you set it.
It differs from the Sting-Free Dimple Ball Softball 11 in. only in diameter. Fastpitch programmes running 11 in. game balls want that one; 12 in. leagues want this one. Everything else is identical, down to the compound, which feels like leather when hit, will not dent aluminum bats and will not sting a hitter’s hands. The Jugs PS50 Pitching Machine throws both 11 in. and 12 in. Sting-Free dimpled softballs.
