Jugs Combo Carousel Feeder
A pitching machine needs two people. One hits, one feeds. That second person is the reason most machines sit unused on a Tuesday afternoon, and it is the only problem the Combo Carousel Feeder exists to solve. Load the Lexan drum, switch it on and the machine keeps throwing while the hitter stays in the box. Jugs puts it plainly: the Carousel Feeder lets players practice hitting on their own without needing a coach or teammate to feed balls.
This is the combo version of that feeder. Jugs builds it for the MVP Combo, the Jr and the BP1 Combo, and states that it does not fit the 2 Wheel Combo. The drum holds 36 baseballs or 18 softballs, releases a ball every 6 seconds, and runs on 110-volt AC. The frame is heavy-duty steel and the carousel is Lexan. Jugs publishes no weight and no dimensions for the Combo Carousel Feeder, and this page does not invent either.

What a feeder changes
The Case for Feeding the Machine Automatically
All five Jugs feeders make the same argument. It is set out here once, in full, on the feeder built for combo machines.
?The Second Person Goes AwayWithout a feeder, a machine session has a fixed staffing cost: one person in the box and one person dropping balls into the chute. That is fine at team practice and impossible at 7am before school. Jugs states the Carousel Feeder allows players to practice hitting on their own without needing a coach or teammate to feed balls. The machine you already own becomes a machine one player can use, which is a different piece of equipment in practical terms. One person, full round?Three Minutes Thirty-Six Seconds Per FillThirty-six baseballs at one every 6 seconds is 3 minutes 36 seconds of pitches before the drum needs filling again. A softball drum of 18 runs 1 minute 48 seconds. Both figures are arithmetic on Jugs’ published capacity and interval, not manufacturer specifications. A hand-fed round stops every time the feeder’s arm gets tired; this one stops when the drum is empty.36 balls per fill? The Same Pitch, Delivered the Same WayA person feeding a machine by hand varies the drop, the timing and the gap between pitches. The drum does not. Jugs publishes a single interval, a ball every 6 seconds, and multi-point leg adjustments that fine tune the feeder’s height and angle against the throwing head so that every ball enters the wheels the same way.6-second interval?Control Away From the MachineJugs lists an In-Line ON/OFF Remote Switch among this feeder’s features, stating that it allows easy control away from the machine. A hitter standing 45 feet away can stop the drum without walking back. Jugs also sells that switch as a separate item, so confirm with us whether it is included in your order before you count on it.Confirm inclusion

Load Thirty-Six, Then Hit
The round runs like this. Set the combo machine, fill the Lexan drum with 36 baseballs or 18 softballs, set the feeder’s height and angle on its multi-point legs, switch on and walk to the plate. From there the machine throws a ball every 6 seconds until the drum is empty, roughly three and a half minutes on the baseball side. The hitter’s only job is the swing. Nobody is standing behind the screen counting balls, and nobody has to be free at the same hour.

Three Combo Machines, One Exclusion
Jugs names this feeder for the MVP Combo, the Jr and the BP1 Combo, and writes the exclusion into the option name itself: not the 2 Wheel Combo. Combo machines throw baseballs and softballs off the same frame, so the drum that feeds them has to handle both, which is why the published capacity reads 36 baseballs or 18 softballs. If your machine is a single-sport model, the version you want is on the Jugs Carousel Feeder page, where Jugs lists eight machine-specific options and one of them will name your model.

Five Jugs Ball Feeders
Every Jugs feeder releases a ball every 6 seconds. What separates them is the machine they bolt to, the ball they take and how many they hold. The Combo Carousel Feeder is the version for machines that throw both baseballs and softballs.
