The Icom intrinsically safe speaker microphone is built for the IC-M88 portable business radio, carrying the same hazardous-location approval as the radio it’s paired with.
A large-diameter speaker delivers up to 2 watts of output, enough to stay clear over background noise on a job site, and a sturdy rotary clip keeps the mic secured rather than relying on a simple spring clip that can work loose.
It’s dust-proof and waterproof, uses a 9-pin spring connector, and the curled cable runs about 18.1 inches, giving a practical working range from the radio without excess slack. Explore more communication accessories.
