Constructed
for extreme durability, these streamers are engineered to be among the toughest and longest recoveryThese streamers are engineered forextreme durabilityand are among thetoughest and longest recovery streamersavailable anywhere in the world. Each unit has astandard width of 10 inches—chosen for optimal aerodynamic drag and long-range visibility—but we can manufacture anycustom width, length, or color configurationupon request. Every streamer is built from1.1 oz ripstop nylonwith edges that arehot-knifed, folded, and fully perimeter-stitchedto eliminate fraying and prevent tear propagation during high-velocity deployments.
A sewn-in Kevlar thermal-protection sleeveallows the streamer to be wrapped “burrito-style” inside the shield, preventing burn damage during ejection or motor-adjacent deployment. At the attachment point, the streamer incorporatesdual stainless-steel grommetsand is rigged withtwo 2,500-lb Kevlar shock cordsleading to a1,500-lb rated swivel, which eliminates twist buildup and prevents entanglement during descent. This configuration is capable ofsafely recovering rockets up to 45 pounds, making it suitable for mid-power through large high-power flights. The high-visibility design makes the streamereasy to spot from miles away, dramatically improving recovery in tall crops, dense tree lines, or rugged terrain. Professionally sewn and offered at afair, accessible price, these streamers also producesignificantly less driftthan traditional parachutes, allowing the rocket to descend almost straight down ideal for minimizing walk distance and avoiding landing damage in fields. Visible even fromapogee, they function not only as a reliable recovery device but also as aneffective long-range tracking aid
