The Balmar Belt Buddy without Adjustment Arm is the universal Belt Buddy mechanism built for use with an existing adjustment arm already on the alternator bracket, rather than including a new arm.
This approach sacrifices some of the travel in the existing adjustment arm, since the mechanism has to anchor to that arm rather than having a dedicated one built for it. It’s worth confirming the alternator mounting doesn’t need that full travel before choosing this version over the complete UBB set.
