Advance ALPHA 8 Classic

Technical data

*All five sizes of the ALPHA 8 Classic are EN/LTF A certified for paragliding and also DGAC certified for paramotoring.

Seamless weight ranges

The Seamless Weight Ranges of the ALPHA make a clear transition from one wing size to the next, so that any pilot suits only one ideal take-off weight range. In this way, the ALPHA guarantees the optimum balance of useful airspeed and climb performance in all flying conditions. Like its predecessor, the ALPHA Series also has an extended weight range of up to 15 kg in each size.

ALPHA 8: COME FLY WITH ME , ENTRY LEVEL PARAGLIDER

EASY – Lift off with ease

The ALPHA series stands out with its clear line setup and colour-coded risers and brake handles, making ground handling especially intuitive. The wing launches effortlessly and is exceptionally easy to fly, thanks to its balanced pitch and roll behaviour.

SAFE – Total confidence

With features like extended brake travel, the ALPHA series offers exceptional safety margins. This allows you to gradually explore new manoeuvres and tackle challenges with ease. Thanks to its high turbulence absorption, you’ll enjoy a smooth and steady flight every time.

FUN – Joy of flying

The responsive, dynamic handling combined with high passive safety makes flying pure fun. With the versatile ALPHA DLS, you can embark on Hike & Fly adventures and travel with confidence and ease.

Technology & features

MAXIMUM PASSIVE SAFETY

The profile has state-of-the-art Air Scoop technology, offering higher maximum lift, which delays airflow separation. Progressive brake pressure provides a clear and noticeable warning as you approach the stall point.

“EASY CONNECT SYSTEM” FOR SAFER HOOK IN

The ALPHA risers have a “Easy Connect System”, which helps the pilot hook in correctly by using a coloured marking system. This reduces the probability of the beginner connecting a twisted riser, or attaching the risers to the wrong carabiners. For maximum compatibility among ADVANCE products the same coloured markings are applied to all ADVANCE harness suspension points.

Paramotor Risers

Its exceptional take off character and pronounced damping in all axes make the ALPHA Series ideally suited to paramotor flying. All sizes have DGAC paramotor certification. Paramotor risers with trimmers are available as an option, and the trimmers can be stowed away in the main carabiners for free flight.
